I have sadly learned from another site that Dave passed away yesterday. I did not see it posted here and wanted to ensure you guys were aware. We lost a darned good one there

Sad news indeed. Last time he talked to our Yakwar team he mentioned all of his ailments but remained strong willed and was hoping to get back on the water. I hope he made it out to the water which he clearly loved one last time.
