Went to Stone Mt. State Park yesterday and had a great time. I caught three brookies and my friend caught a brookie and a rainbow. My first fish was the best at 16". I'll try to load a pic if I can figure it out. We had our best luck on a pink egg pattern #12 or #14.

Good deal I would love to see some pics. You can upload pics by attaching a photo to your post when you reply you will see below where you type the option to add a file. Click browse pick your picture and click add photo.

If I could figure out how to do screen shots I would show you how to do it.

No, only four and three months. The four year old is only operating cell phones now. I'll work on getting them on soon.

I'm gonna try to put a pic on here so lets see what happens. A guy at the river told me this brookie looked to be 16''.

I went there fly fishing for my first time a few years ago. It happened to be close tona release day I believe because trout were EVERYWHERE I hooked a dozen or so best being 13-14" also saw a huge buck 160 class like 49 yes away crossing the creek, they aren't scared of people up there!

Very nice trout, jroark! I love getting up into the NC Smoky mountains in the fall and chasing fresh water trout with a fly rod. The Watauga is on of my favorite streams on the planet! Looks like Stone Mountain State Park isn't too bad either!
