I did my first official night raid this weekend and loved it (I think the juggers we're a bit confused as to what was reflecting light though!) - now I'm wanting to participate in the madness even more this year. I'd imagine everything is straight forward - but is there any rules posted from last year, I don't see any.

And is this pictoral, bringing fish back or an either or situation?

Is chum allowed?

dear Tackle,
I will look thorugh the threads again but the rules are fairly simple. Here they are in a nutshell,
1. All scoring fish must be caught after event starts. You can catch bait at the dock (bream etc) but you must be at the dock at 6pm for the quick Captains meeting and you kayak must be out of the water.
2. You can either photo your fish or bring them back (they are going, if you want to donate them, to a church/father's day fund raiser the next day)
3. you can bring bait from home.
4. you can use multiple rods
5. you must net/land the fish yourself (if the catfish is realllly big you can secure it to kayak and then take to shore to photo if you fish
6. you must follow all the NC rules regarding what you need on the kayak (PFD<white light, signaling device)
7. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PFD ON AT ALL TIMES.
8. You can start registering at the scores table at 5pm and getting your gear ready to launch.
9. If you are going to photo fish I need you to bring your cable so we can look at it on the laptop.
10. TIes go to whoever checks in first, if you catch a nice fish you can come in, score it and then go back out (I will cover this at the wuick Captains meeting.
11. If you are scoring fish for the NCKFA Online evet too you will need your JUNE ID which will be up June 1st !

Please ask questions if you think I missed anything..looking forward to seeing you all there!

Reference to PFD note above: I believe you meant to type "You must have your PFD ON at all times."

Is that correct Mark?
