Thanks to everyone who came out last night and a Big Thanks to Gary Ribbet who recovered my lucky Hat that blew out as I was leaving!
Also a HUGE thanks to Newest Member Chris (he brought Watermelon too!) who took lots of Pic;s and help me load and unload while everyone else was fishing.
Thanks to Nathan and his Son and Jim Leisy for helping with the set up as did lots of others.
I will try to get pic of fish fry so you can see where all the fish went if I am back up before that event is over.
The weather could not have been nicer and if you missed this one, don't miss it next year.

bigfoot headlamps!

Thanks for putting on another fun event. My spot was not active, as it seemed the current had died down quite a bit from thursday and friday. I had a great time at the start making the long trek to my spot and chasing down Fistmouth in his Mariner. I think I paddled 4-5 mph for about 30 minutes straight. I managed a bass for kayak wars to get the skunk out of the boat but that is about it. By the time I left I had 3 boats anchored around me, and hearing many times by boats anchoring aor passing by, "We heard this is the catfish hole." Turns out the party barge there was the same one from Thursday. I asked them how large the catfish was they lost that night, and they said about 10-12 pounds (on a crappie minnow).

Btw...I'm flattered my rear end has been immortalized into the NCKFA forum...
