 Post subject: Southport reds

Decided to head down and fish the Cape Fear near Southport. I got out before the high tide and started working grass lines with a topwater. Didn't manage a strike until an hour and half after high tide. Landed six reds. Two were short fish. The others were slot up to 24". All caught on spinnerbait. Every fish was caught in a 1 hour time period. Missed one flounder at the boat on a spinnerbait. No specs on this trip. See some pics below.

Great job on the reds! What brand of spinnerbait were you using? I noticed (and like) the gold bullet weight at the tip of it.
