Many of you wanted me to keep you posted if the king mackerel fired back up and it looks like the nearshore king bite at Oak Island may be firing back up. Fishermen at Ocean Crest Pier caught one Saturday and 3 so far today and fishermen at Oak Island Pier caught one yesterday.
