As a matter of fact, I just came off the water at 2:52 PM today after spending several hours trolling. Caught between 35 and 40 fish. Although we weren't necessarily targeting them, a good many of these were catfish. Largest cat was about 23 lbs according to the Boca Grip.

Yes catfish will hit crankbaits provided you can get them at the proper depth.

You never hurt the resource when you return a fish to the water.

The fish you remove from the water today is one you can't catch again tomorrow.

Carry a camera - a photo of a fish lasts a lot longer than a fish does.

The book "Precision Trolling" has gotten hard to find and I can't get an answer on when more will be printed. I wouldn't infringe on any copyrights and thus won't run copies of dive curves, but if you have a specific plug that you need to know the depth and line out information for, just ask here and I'll provide that information. Popular crankbaits that I have the curves for include Rapala DT series, Bandit and Bomber models.
