Hey guys,

New to the board and new to North Carolina. I was one of the original members of the AmericanRiverFishing.com network (GeorgiaRiverFishing.com actually) where I spent 12 years fishing in rivers and streams in North Georgia, really going after shoal bass. Then I spent four years in the Florida panhandle (FloridaRiverFishing.net) and am now here in the RDU area.

I really enjoy wade fishing in rocks especially for smallmouth but I'm not a smallie snob. A good piedmont float for some largies is just fine by me.

My fleet consists of an Old Towne 158 and 119. (Sorry, they aren't kayaks so I hope I'm allowed here).

With a wife I enjoy spending time with and two babies under two, a full time job, and part-time seminary student, it is much harder to get on the water but I still manage to go a few times a month. Please let me know if you are interested.

I look forward to meeting you guys.

Tight Lines,
The General

The General is always welcome in any site that I am in!!!

Used to see him in the GeorgiaRiverFishing website and his posts and reports were helpful and contained very good content.

Take care....JohnYaksJax

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. Yes, JYJ, I was at the Pallooza last year and I thought we met. That has been a great time for me over the years but I'm looking forward to new memories here in NC.
